A Story Behind the Lens
Every photographer’s nightmare? A damaged SD card.
Yep! It happened to me, and I’ll be honest, it sent me spiraling.
All I could think about was the session, the moments, the trust this family had put in me.
But then came mom cool as a cucumber.
Instead of stress or frustration, she offered me grace and the chance for a re-shoot.
That simple act turned what could have been a total disaster into something unexpectedly beautiful.
I first had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family when baby girl was still in the womb,
and meeting her in all her cuteness at the re-shoot felt like a full-circle moment.
To capture her little smiles and snuggles after knowing her only through bump photos was truly special.
And the best part? What started as a stressful situation blossomed into a genuine friendship.
Two sessions, countless laughs, and one very photogenic baby later,
I’m just so grateful that this journey behind the lens connected us.
