Moments in Bloom

A Mommy & Me session that stole my heart

Some sessions come together exactly as planned. Others unfold in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.

Lauren reached out after our plans with another studio fell through: a story I’ll save for another time.

I’m so grateful she took a chance on the new studio.

I had this vision in my head: soft florals, a glowing mama-to-be, and her sweet daughter in the middle of it all.

From the moment they arrived, I knew we were creating something special.

Her bump was radiant, but it was her daughter who truly stole the show.

She danced around the floral installation like it was made just for her; full of joy, curiosity, and that pure little-kid magic that can't be posed or planned.

And somehow, everything clicked: the light, the colors, the connection between them.

It felt soft and warm and real.

Just like motherhood.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner and baby number two on the way, this session felt like a beautiful pause; a moment for Lauren to soak up her bond with her first baby before life shifts again.

That quiet sweetness, the anticipation, the tiny hands wrapped around her bump.

Those are the in-between moments I love the most.

I’m already counting down the days until I get to photograph their family again.

This time, at home, once baby has arrived.

There’s something incredibly sacred about being invited into someone’s life as it grows.

And I couldn’t be more honored to document this journey for them.

To Lauren: thank you for saying yes to the crazy idea.

Thank you for your trust, your flexibility, and your warmth.
