Capturing Moments That Don’t Happen Often

An extended Family Session

I recently had the honor of photographing an extended family session that felt extra special from the start.

One of the family members had traveled hundreds of miles to be there making this rare time together that much more meaningful.

And to add a little extra pressure?

One of the family members is also a photographer.

So you know I was bringing my A-game!

When a fellow creative trusts you to capture their memories, it’s both an incredible compliment and a responsibility I take seriously.

We met at a local park by the lake, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect soft light, a gentle breeze, and a peaceful space for the whole crew to connect, relax, and just enjoy each other.

The session was filled with laughter, genuine moments, and the kind of connection you can feel through the images.

Sessions like this remind me why I do what I do.

If you’ve got family coming into town, or you’re planning a visit yourself, let’s make it more than a memory.

Let’s turn it into something you can hold onto forever.
